After a Bitcoin transaction is sent, it’s not immediately finalized. The transaction needs to be validated by the Bitcoin network, which involves including it in a block of transactions. This process is called “confirmation.” Each time a block containing your transaction is added to the blockchain, it receives one confirmation. Six or more confirmations are generally considered necessary for a transaction to be fully validated, which helps prevent double-spending. For our service, we require a minimum of two confirmations before your request is processed.
